Lifestyle - Protection - Prevention - Skin Repair
I. Protection
Sun Protection
Wear a sunscreen daily with SPF 30 with both UVA and UVB coverage.
Do not sunbathe or tan at tanning salons.
Avoid sun as much as possible especially between 10 a.m. and 2:00 p.m
Environmental Protection
Stress. Minimize the stress in your life. Control blood pressure.
Adequate sleep: Usually 6 - 8 hours each night.
Dietary: Aim for a well balanced diet, 6 - 8 glasses of water daily, anti-
oxidants in diet or nutritional supplement and 25 grams fiber daily.
Exercise: Aim for a total of 60 minutes of exercise daily.
Alcohol: Drink only in moderation or not at all.
Smoking: Smoking causes more wrinkling.
II. Prevention
Sun Protection as above.
AHA - alpha-hydroxy acids. PHA - Poly-hydroxy acids for fine lines, improved radiance and clarity
